Ontario Funds Economic Projects in Kawartha Lakes
The Ontario government has announced funding for two projects in Kawartha Lakes aimed at boosting the local economy. The Coboconk, Norland and Area Chamber of Commerce will receive up to $250,000 to renovate the Coboconk Train Station into a multi-use community hub and business incubator. This project is part of a larger investment of nearly $1 million. The renovations will create commercial space and an innovation hub, encouraging business clusters in sectors such as medical, agriculture, and manufacturing.
