Ontario Funds Bridging Programs for New Graduates and Newcomers in Construction

The Ontario government has announced the fifth round of the Skills Development Fund (SDF), with up to $260 million available for training initiatives. This round includes funding for bridging programs aimed at helping new graduates and newcomers to Canada adapt to roles in the construction industry.

Additionally, the funding will support upskilling programs that allow contractors to identify and train existing workers for Site Supervisor positions.
