New Employment Services Website Launched in Durham Region

A new website has been launched to support job seekers and employers in Durham Region. The website, durham.ca/EmploymentServices, offers resources and labour market information. It is accessible at any time and is specific to Durham Region communities.

The website was developed by the Durham Region Employment Services Consortium, which includes The Regional Municipality of Durham, Durham College, and Durham Workforce Authority. The consortium provides funding, support, and oversight for the region's employment services network.

Employment Services aims to assist job seekers in acquiring new skills and securing employment, while also helping employers find the necessary skills and resources to create job opportunities. This service is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
