New All-Way Stop to be Installed at Simcoe Street South and Harbour Road in Oshawa

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced the installation of a new all-way stop at the intersection of Simcoe Street South (Regional Road 2) and Harbour Road in Oshawa. The installation is tentatively scheduled for September 25, though weather conditions may affect this timeline.

The new traffic control measure will require all drivers to stop their vehicles before entering the intersection and yield the right-of-way to the first vehicle or other road user that has come to a complete stop. This measure aims to improve road safety at the intersection.
