New All-Way Stop at Sandford Road/Herald Road and York Durham Line in Uxbridge

The Regional Municipality of Durham is implementing a new all-way stop at the intersection of Sandford Road (Regional Road 11)/Herald Road and York Durham Line (Regional Road 30) in the Township of Uxbridge. The installation is scheduled for July 25, although unfavorable weather conditions may affect the timeline. This all-way stop will require all drivers to stop their vehicles before entering the intersection and yield the right-of-way to the first vehicle or other road user to come to a complete stop. The measure aims to enhance road safety by providing a controlled crossing for all road users.
