Motor Vehicle Collision Cost Recovery Program Approved in Clarington

The General Government Committee of Clarington approved the Motor Vehicle Collision Cost Recovery Program for municipal and regional roads during its meeting on February 18, 2020. This program is designed to recover costs associated with responding to motor vehicle collisions on these roadways. The resolution, moved by Councillor Hooper and seconded by Mayor Foster, also included the approval of an amendment to Schedule B of By-law 2010-142, which pertains to the payment of fees for information and services provided by the Municipality of Clarington. The details of the program and the process for residents to claim costs will be outlined in the by-law attached to Report ESD-002-20.
