Maintenance and Updates at Waverley Place Museum

The Waverley Place Museum, previously known as the Bowmanville Museum, located at 37 Silver Street, has recently undergone significant maintenance and remediation. The Clarington Public Library Board reports that in 2024, the museum saw the installation of a new accessible ramp and walkway, structural stabilization, and the replacement of woodwork and chimney masonry.

Further work scheduled for this year includes replacing columns, upper balcony railings, eavestroughs, and downspouts. These updates are part of ongoing efforts to improve accessibility and maintain the historical structure.
