Local Organizations Benefit from Donation Station Initiative
The Clarington Public Library, Museums, and Archives have announced a new initiative called the Donation Station. This initiative aims to support local organizations by directing funds and resources to them. The organizations benefiting from this initiative include the Clarington East Food Bank, Feed the Need Durham, the Salvation Army, and St. Vincent De Paul.
Residents can contribute to these organizations through various means. Donations can be made directly to the Clarington East Food Bank via their website. Feed the Need Durham also accepts donations online. The Salvation Army in Bowmanville has set up a dedicated webpage for contributions. Additionally, St. Vincent De Paul accepts eTransfers, with details available on their website.
All funds raised through the Donation Station initiative will be used locally to support these organizations in their efforts to provide food and other essential services to those in need within the community.
