Liberty Street North in Bowmanville Closed for Emergency Watermain Repairs

The Municipality of Clarington has announced that Liberty Street North in Bowmanville will be closed between Concession Street East and Queen Street for emergency watermain repairs. According to the municipality, the closure will begin on Monday, December 4.

Traffic will not be permitted through this section of Liberty Street North while the repairs are underway. The announcement did not provide information on how long the closure will last.

The Municipality of Clarington has advised motorists and residents to use alternate routes during the closure period. No detour routes were specified in the announcement.
