Launch of Y10 Monthly Youth Pass by Durham Region Transit

Durham Region Transit (DRT) will introduce the Y10 Monthly Youth Pass on September 1, 2024. The pass is available for youth aged 13 to 19 at a cost of $84.24 per month. Customers who purchase the pass each month from September to June will save $19.44 on each consecutive pass, totaling $194.40 in savings over the period. Y10 passes can be purchased starting August 21, 2024, and must be enrolled in the Y10 program by September 15, 2024, to maintain the monthly savings. The pass provides unlimited travel from September 1, 2024, until June 30, 2025. Passes can be purchased at various locations, including DRT Customer Service in Ajax and the Oshawa Centre, by presenting proof of age. DRT is also implementing an online enrollment system for the Y10 program, which is not available through the PRESTO e-ticket app.
