Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Simcoe Street South in Oshawa

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South in Oshawa. These restrictions will be in place from November 8 to November 15, subject to weather conditions. The affected area extends from Kawartha Avenue to Harbour Road. The purpose of the restrictions is to facilitate the construction of a concrete curb and sidewalk as part of a new development project.

Motorists are advised to drive cautiously to ensure the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and construction workers. The municipality acknowledges that the construction may cause disruptions and has committed to completing the work as efficiently as possible.
