Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Rossland Road East in Whitby

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced upcoming lane restrictions on Rossland Road East in Whitby. These restrictions are scheduled to occur from November 11 to December 10. The affected area will be the eastbound lanes of Rossland Road East, stretching from Civic Centre Drive to Garden Street.

The purpose of these lane restrictions is to facilitate the relocation of Enbridge Gas infrastructure. This work is in preparation for a future capital works project by the Region.

The Region has acknowledged the potential disruption caused by this work and has stated that efforts will be made to complete the project efficiently. Motorists are advised to be cautious for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
