Lane Restrictions on Simcoe Street South in Oshawa

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa. The restrictions will be in effect from July 29 to August 16. The affected area is Simcoe Street South, from Olive Avenue (Regional Road 59) to Avenue Street. These lane restrictions are necessary for the safe installation of new water service to support new development. Residents are advised that the work may cause disruptions, and drivers should exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
