Lane Restrictions on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa Scheduled for October

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa. These restrictions will be in effect from October 1 to November 1, 2024, during daytime hours. The affected area is from 250 metres south of Windfields Farm Drive to Windfields Farm Drive. The purpose of these restrictions is to facilitate the construction of a turning lane and a new entrance to support development in the area. The schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions and contractor availability. Motorists are urged to exercise caution for the safety of the work crews.
