Lane Restrictions on Regional Road 8 in Uxbridge Scheduled for September

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Regional Road 8 in the Township of Uxbridge.

Schedule:

Start Date: September 11
End Date: September 27
Note: Unfavorable weather conditions may affect the work schedule.

Location:

Regional Road 8, between Owen Road and Concession 6, Uxbridge.

Purpose:

The work is being conducted to complete emergency bank stabilization.

Traffic Impact:

During the day, Regional Road 8 will be reduced to one lane with traffic control on-site.
At night, the roadway will be opened to two lanes.

The municipality acknowledges that this work may cause disruptions and will strive to complete it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are advised to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
