Lane Restrictions on Jane Street and Ida Street in Sunderland

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Jane Street and Ida Street in Sunderland, part of the Township of Brock. The restrictions are scheduled to begin the week of September 30 and continue until mid-December 2024, although the timeline may be affected by unfavorable weather conditions.

The affected areas include Jane Street, from Ida Street to approximately 230 meters north of Ida Street, and Ida Street between Albert Street and Jane Street. The lane restrictions are being implemented to facilitate the replacement of a watermain.

Further watermain work in the area is planned for Maple Street North, starting in May 2025. Additional details will be provided closer to the start date.
