Lane Restrictions in Oshawa Due to Watermain Repairs

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions at the intersection of Wilson Road South and Wentworth Street East in Oshawa. These restrictions are due to ongoing repairs of a watermain break. The eastbound curb lane at Wentworth and Wilson is closed, and all lanes are completely closed on Wilson Road south of Wentworth. The restrictions will remain in place until the repair work is completed.

Residents and businesses in the area may experience temporary water service interruptions or reduced water pressure during the repair period. Once water service is restored, it is advised to run a cold water tap for five to ten minutes to clear any sediment from the water system. The Regional Municipality of Durham has acknowledged the disruption caused by the repair work and has stated that efforts will be made to complete the work efficiently. Drivers are urged to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
