Lane Restrictions Announced for Regional Highway 2 in Clarington

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Regional Highway 2 in Clarington. These restrictions will be in place from October 7 to November 8, subject to weather conditions. The affected areas include sections from west of Ovens Road to 30 metres west of Newtonville Road (Regional Road 18), and from 120 metres east of Newtonville Road to east of East Townline Road. The purpose of these restrictions is to facilitate road resurfacing. Motorists are advised to drive carefully to ensure the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
