Investigation Underway Following Double Homicide in Courtice
Two females were found deceased in a residence on Moulton Court in Courtice, and a male is in custody following the incident.
On October 1, 2024, at approximately 1:10 p.m., officers from the East Division responded to a call to check on the wellbeing of the occupants at the address. Upon arrival, they discovered the two females inside the residence, both showing obvious signs of trauma. A child was also present in the home but was reported to be uninjured.
A 33-year-old male was arrested at the scene without incident. The Forensic Investigative Services and Homicide Unit are currently conducting an investigation at the location and will continue their work there for an extended period.
The identities of the deceased individuals have not been released by investigators at this time.
