Impact on Traffic During King Street East Improvements
The Municipality of Clarington will undertake roadway improvements on King Street East from Lambert Street to Haines Road. The construction is expected to begin in late summer 2024 and will last approximately 4-6 weeks. During this period, through traffic and access to all properties will remain open; however, short disruptions may occur as work proceeds. The road will experience lane reductions during working hours, which may lead to traffic delays. The municipality has indicated that these timelines are approximate and may vary due to weather and other factors. Precautions are being taken to minimize inconvenience, including maintaining access to properties and managing traffic flow during construction hours.
