HMCS Harry DeWolf Embarks on Counter-Narcotics Mission

On January 26, 2025, His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Harry DeWolf set sail from Halifax, Nova Scotia, for a six-week deployment. The mission involves counter-narcotics operations in the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, conducted in collaboration with United States forces.

The deployment, part of Operation CARIBBE, focuses on monitoring and intercepting vessels suspected of drug trafficking. Canadian sailors will work alongside US Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Team personnel to support efforts aimed at disrupting the flow of illicit drugs and goods between South America, the Caribbean, and North America.
