Highway 2 and Stapleton Road Land Exchange
On March 8, 2021, the General Government Committee of Clarington discussed the land exchange between Highway 2 and Stapleton Road. The committee received Report PWD-016-21 regarding the exchange and approved the associated by-law as outlined in the report. The resolution, numbered GG-239-21, was moved by Councillor Neal and seconded by Mayor Foster. The committee also decided that all interested parties listed in the report and any delegations would be informed of Council’s decision. This land exchange is part of ongoing urban planning efforts in the area.
