Hamlin Grange Honored with Clarington Mayor’s Challenge Coin

Hamlin Grange, a dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, has been presented with the Clarington Mayor’s Challenge Coin. The presentation was made by Mayor Adrian Foster in recognition of Grange’s contributions to social justice in the community.

The award ceremony was part of the Black History Month celebrations, held on February 8, 2025. Grange is a well-respected resident of Clarington and has received multiple honors for his work, including being named to the Order of Canada.

The Clarington Mayor’s Challenge Coin is given to individuals who have positively impacted the community through their efforts in areas like advocacy, volunteering, and organizing.
