Hamilton Man, 72, Arrested for Alleged Child Luring

A 72-year-old man from Hamilton has been arrested following an investigation into alleged child luring activities. According to the Durham Region Police Service, the suspect engaged in online communications with someone he believed was a 13-year-old girl, sharing explicit messages and images in the process.

The arrest occurred without incident after officers executed multiple search warrants at locations in Hamilton. The police are continuing their efforts to address online risks to young people.

The suspect is facing charges related to the luring allegations. All actions related to the investigation are attributed to the Durham Region Police Service.
