Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority Elects New Chair for 2024
The Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority (GRCA) held their Annual General Meeting on February 15, 2024. During the meeting, Mark Lovshin, the outgoing Chair from the Township of Hamilton, presented the 2023 Annual Report and thanked the Board and staff for their support during his tenure.
Linda Laliberte, GRCA CAO/Secretary-Treasurer, provided a summary of the Authority’s finances and also expressed gratitude to the board members and staff. The meeting included elections for the upcoming year.
Vicki Mink from the Municipality of Port Hope was elected as the new Chair of the GRCA Board of Directors. Willie Woo from the Municipality of Clarington was elected as Vice-Chair. The election was officiated by Glenn Tozer of Lynch Rutherford Tozer, Chartered Accountants.
