Four Arrested in Connection with Oshawa Assault

Four individuals have been arrested in connection with an assault that took place at a residence in Oshawa, Ontario. The incident occurred on December 15, 2024, at approximately 5:10 p.m. in the vicinity of Graburn Avenue and Drew Street. According to the Durham Region Police Service, officers responded to a report of three males dragging another male into a residence. Upon their arrival, several individuals were seen fleeing the scene, and one suspect was immediately apprehended. Two suspects remain at large.

A search of the area resulted in the arrest of two additional males and one female. During the investigation, a firearm was recovered from the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The individuals charged include Nathan Daniel Kelly, 36, from Oshawa, who faces charges of aggravated assault and multiple firearm-related offenses. Mackenzy Lee Sigouin, 28, also from Oshawa, is charged with firearm-related offenses. Kevin Boutilier, 45, from Niagara Falls, faces charges of firearm-related offenses and failing to comply with probation orders. Daniel Carrigan, 62, also from Niagara Falls, is charged with firearm-related offenses.

All four suspects were held for a bail hearing. The Durham Region Police Service continues to investigate the incident and is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the two suspects who remain at large.
