Farewell Creek Trail Phase 2B Status Update

On March 8, 2021, during the General Government Committee meeting, Ian Soutter presented a status update on the Farewell Creek Trail Phase 2B. He requested that the Council share the staff report with residents on Pinedale Crescent and suggested deferring any decisions to allow residents to express their concerns. Soutter raised issues regarding the potential impact on the privacy, security, and property values of Pinedale Crescent property owners. The committee referred his delegation to the consideration of Report PWD-017-21, which details the status of the trail project. The committee later resolved to alter the agenda to consider the report at that time. Ultimately, the report was referred to the next Council meeting scheduled for March 22, 2021, for further discussion.
