Family Events Scheduled at Durham York Energy Centre

The Durham York Energy Centre in Courtice will host family-friendly events on Friday, October 25, and Friday, November 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. These events coincide with Professional Learning Activity (PA) Days for local schools.

Activities planned for the day include guided tours of the control room, interactive waste sorting games, and various crafts such as activity books, colouring pages, and button making. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet the staff and engage with informational displays.

No pre-registration is required for these events, but all children must be accompanied by an adult. The venue offers accessible parking and access. For more information, visit durham.ca/WasteEvents.
