Establishment of Community Garden in Newcastle Approved

The General Government Committee of Clarington has approved the establishment of a community garden in Newcastle as detailed in Report PWD-014-21. The resolution, moved by Councillor Zwart and seconded by Councillor Anderson, directs staff to proceed with the establishment of the garden. Additionally, the Director of Public Works is authorized to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the community garden association, provided it is satisfactory to the Municipal Solicitor. This decision was carried unanimously by the committee.
