East Doors of Clarington Town Hall Closed for Veterans' Square Construction

The east doors of Clarington Town Hall will be closed as the next phase of construction for Veterans' Square begins. This phase involves significant landscaping and renovations. The closure is part of a broader project aimed at revitalizing the Veterans' Square and Courtyard.

The contract for this phase has been awarded to J. Hoover Ltd with a bid amount of $1,301,771.41, which includes all provisional items. The total funds required for the project amount to $1,359,672.85, covering construction costs and other related expenses such as design, inspection, testing, contract administration, and contingencies.

Residents and visitors are advised to use alternative entrances to access Town Hall during this period. The construction is part of the Community Services Division's efforts to improve public spaces in Clarington.
