Durham Region Transit Reintroduces 917Z Route to Toronto Zoo

Durham Region Transit (DRT) is reintroducing the 917Z route to serve the Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park this summer. The service will operate on weekends and holidays from June 29, 2024, to September 2, 2024. Buses will run every 30 minutes from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The 917Z route will connect the Oshawa Centre Terminal, Whitby Station, Ajax Station, and Pickering Parkway Terminal to the Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park. This service aims to provide Durham residents with a convenient transportation option to these popular attractions.
