Durham Region Transit Reintroduces 917Z Bus Route for Summer 2024
Durham Region Transit (DRT) will reintroduce the 917Z bus route this summer, connecting residents to the Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park. The service will begin on June 29, 2024, and will operate on weekends and holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., with buses running every 30 minutes until September 2, 2024. The 917Z route will serve several key locations, including the Oshawa Centre Terminal, Whitby Station, Ajax Station, and Pickering Parkway Terminal, before reaching its final destinations at the Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park.
