Durham Region Transit Invites Feedback on Accessible Transit
Durham Region Transit (DRT) is conducting a survey to gather public input on accessible transit needs. The survey is available from September 10 to October 31, 2024, and aims to address the shortage of accessible taxis and identify service gaps.
DRT buses are equipped with accessibility features in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Additionally, DRT provides Specialized services through On Demand for individuals who cannot use conventional transit services.
Residents are encouraged to participate in the survey to provide feedback that will help improve transit services in the region.
