Durham Region Transit Extends Closure of Stops on Simcoe Street

Durham Region Transit has announced an extension of the closure for stops #671 and #664 on Simcoe Street at Royal Street due to ongoing construction at the Simcoe Street and Olive Avenue intersection. The closure is now extended until September 13, 2024.

The affected stops are:

• Stop #671 – Simcoe Street northbound at Royal Street
• Stop #664 – Simcoe Street southbound at Royal Street

Riders are advised to use the following alternative stops:

• Stop #670 – Simcoe Street northbound at Albany Street
• Stop #665 – Simcoe Street southbound at Mill Street
• Temporary stop at Simcoe Street northbound at Olive Avenue
