Durham Region Transit Announces Detour for Routes 409 and 920

Durham Region Transit has announced a detour for routes 409 and 920 due to a road closure on Conlin Road between Garrard Road and Thornton Road. The detour will be in effect from Friday, October 4, at 07:00 until Friday, October 18, at 18:00.

  • Route 409 will detour via Conlin Road, Thickson Road, Winchester Road, and Simcoe Street.
  • Route 920 will detour via Taunton Road, Thornton Road, and Conlin Road during Route 409's regular hours.

For Route 920 westbound trips starting at Harmony Terminal, the following times will detour via Simcoe Street, Winchester Road, Thickson Road, and Conlin Road:

  • 20:15, 20:45, 21:15, 21:45, and 22:15.

Route 920 eastbound trips starting at Scarborough Town Centre will detour via Conlin Road, Thickson Road, Winchester Road, and Simcoe Street at the following times:

  • 19:15, 19:26, 19:33, 19:43, 19:56, 20:18, 20:33, 20:59, 21:29, 21:52, 22:22, 22:52, 23:22, and 23:52.

Temporary stops will be served at Conlin Road eastbound and westbound at Garrard Road.
