Durham Region Seeks Volunteers for Waste Management Advisory Committee
Residents of Durham Region are invited to apply for volunteer positions on the Energy from Waste – Waste Management Advisory Committee (EFW-WMAC). This committee provides advice on waste diversion, waste management, and environmental performance related to the Durham York Energy Centre (DYEC), an energy-from-waste facility.

Eligibility: Applicants must reside in Durham Region. Clarington residents should apply through the Municipality of Clarington.

Requirements: A detailed resume and cover letter outlining interest and qualifications are required. Knowledge of waste management practices and the Environmental Assessment process is beneficial. Previous experience with committees or working groups is considered an asset.
