Durham Region Proposes Laurie Bridge Replacement in Uxbridge

The Regional Municipality of Durham has submitted an application to the Minister of Transport under the Canadian Navigable Waters Act. This application concerns the replacement of the Laurie Bridge, located over the Pefferlaw River on Durham Regional Road 13 (Zephyr Road) in the Township of Uxbridge, Ontario. The application details have been filed with the Minister of Transport and are available on the online Navigable Waters Registry under the NPP File Number 2024-413079.

Residents can submit comments regarding the impact of the proposed work on marine navigation through the Common Project Search site or by mail to Transport Canada's Navigation Protection Program in Sarnia, Ontario. Comments must be submitted in writing and received within 30 days following the last notice publication. While all comments will be considered, individual responses will not be provided.
