Durham Region Hosts Entrepreneurship Week
Durham Region has announced the Do It In Durham Entrepreneurship Week, scheduled from November 18 to 22. This event aims to support and promote entrepreneurship within the region. The week-long series of events will include over 60 activities designed to assist individuals interested in starting or growing a business. These events will feature expert speakers and networking opportunities.
The initiative is organized by the Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD) and involves collaboration with various community partners and business support organizations. The event coincides with Global Entrepreneurship Week, which hosts numerous events worldwide.
John Henry, Regional Chair and CEO of Durham Region, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurs in driving economic growth in the community. Simon Gill, Director of Economic Development and Tourism, highlighted the role of small businesses in the region's success.
