Durham Region Hosts Climate Action Forum

The Durham Region is set to host the Durham Climate Roundtable Fall Forum on October 19 in Whitby, Ontario. This event, organized by the Region of Durham in collaboration with the Brilliant Energy Institute at Ontario Tech University, aims to address climate challenges and explore sustainable solutions. The forum will feature discussions, workshops, and activities focused on climate issues specific to the Durham area. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in panel discussions and workshops, and engage with local leaders and community members. Additionally, the event will include a Repair Café, where participants can bring items such as bikes and small appliances for repair by volunteers. The Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee is also organizing an Art from Garbage contest for students.
