Durham Police Seek Suspects in Ajax Jewellery Store Robbery

Durham Region Police are searching for two suspects following a robbery at a jewellery store in Ajax. The incident took place on Monday, December 30, 2024, around 1:10 p.m. at V P Jewelry on Harwood Avenue North. According to police reports, two male suspects entered the store, restrained an employee, and stole jewellery before fleeing on foot.

The employee suffered minor injuries during the incident. The suspects are described as follows: the first suspect is a White male, aged 30 to 40, approximately 6’1” tall with a heavy build. The second suspect is a White male, aged 30 to 40, approximately 5’9” tall with a slim build.

Police are appealing to the public for information regarding the robbery. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers, where informants may be eligible for a cash reward.
