DRPS Investigates Shooting at Residence in Ajax

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) West Division is investigating after multiple shots were fired at a residence in Ajax overnight. According to a DRPS media release, officers responded to a report of gunfire at a home in Ajax. Police reported that no injuries were sustained during the incident.

DRPS stated that evidence related to the shooting was located at the scene. The police did not provide information regarding suspects or possible motivation for the incident.

DRPS investigators are asking anyone who may have information about the incident, including video surveillance, dash camera, or cellphone footage from the area at the time, to come forward.

Ajax is a community covered by the Durham Regional Police Service, which also serves Clarington.
