Driver Charged in Serious Scugog Collision
A 24-year-old Oshawa resident has been charged following a collision that resulted in serious injuries to a motorcyclist in the Township of Scugog. The incident took place on July 20, 2024, at the intersection of Regional Road 57 and Nestleton Road.
According to the Durham Regional Police Service, the motorcyclist, a 65-year-old man, was ejected from his vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries. He was subsequently transported to a trauma centre in Toronto for medical care.
The driver, identified as Nicholous Seeney, faces charges of Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Operating an Unsafe Motor Vehicle. The police have completed their investigation into the collision.
