Dirt Bike Accident in Clarington Leaves Woman Seriously Injured
A 48-year-old woman from Ajax was seriously injured in a dirt bike accident in Clarington. The incident occurred on October 5, 2024, at approximately 2:45 p.m. on a trail near Boundary Road, east of Highway 115. The woman was riding eastbound when she lost control of the dirt bike, resulting in her ejection and subsequent serious injuries. She was transported to a trauma center in Toronto, where she remains in serious condition.
The Durham Regional Police Service's Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The trail area was closed for several hours to allow for evidence collection.
