Delegation of Authority to Treasurer for Extension Agreements

On January 4, 2021, the General Government Committee of the Municipality of Clarington passed a resolution to delegate authority to the Treasurer to enter into extension agreements as per Section 378 of the Municipal Act, 2001. The resolution, moved by Councillor Hooper and seconded by Councillor Jones, stated that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington would grant this authority to facilitate the management of financial agreements. The attached By-law to Report FSD-001-21 was also approved as part of this resolution.
