Laura Lee Carey addressed the General Government Committee on November 28, 2022, regarding a request to amend By-law 2007-070 to prevent the installation of permanent lights on the side and rear of residential properties. Carey expressed concerns about bright, flashing lights from a neighbor's home that shine into her residence and backyard. She stated that the by-law should be revised to address these issues. Following her delegation, a resolution was passed to refer her request to staff for further consideration.

New Long-Term Care Home in Pickering Named Seaton Village
