Critical Condition Following Assault in Oshawa
A male is in critical condition following an assault that occurred in Oshawa. The incident took place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at approximately 7:45 p.m. Members of the Central East Division were responding to a call in the vicinity of Centre Street South and John Street West when a bystander reported the assault. Officers proceeded to Memorial Park, where they found a male with serious injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where his injuries were assessed as critical, and he was later moved to a trauma center in Toronto. The suspects had fled the scene before police arrived.
