Courtice Community Complex Scheduled for Temporary Closures

The Courtice Community Complex will be closed on November 12 and 14 due to necessary transformer upgrades. The facility will not be accessible from 5:30 to 10 a.m. on November 12 and from 5:30 a.m. to noon on November 14. During these times, all scheduled programs and activities will be cancelled. Other recreational facilities in the area will remain open as usual, and residents can check the drop-in schedule for alternative activities.

These upgrades are part of Clarington's efforts to manage electricity capacity and support infrastructure improvements. The municipality has outlined these actions in its Corporate Climate Action Plan, which aims to address climate change impacts.
