Community Pass Program at Clarington Library Now Includes ROM
The Clarington Library, Museums & Archives (CLMA) has announced an expansion of its Community Pass Program to include the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) located in Toronto. This addition allows library patrons to borrow family passes providing general admission to the museum.
The Community Pass Program, part of CLMA's initiative to offer a 'Library of Things', currently includes partners such as the Canadian Automotive Museum and the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority (CLOCA).
Monika Machacek, CEO of the CLMA, commented on the partnership's significance, highlighting the educational benefits this inclusion presents. According to Machacek, the partnership aims to broaden access to cultural experiences available to the community.
The ROM Community Pass is available for borrowing at the Clarington Library and offers admission for up to four visitors throughout the borrowing term. For further details on the program or other offerings, residents can visit the Clarington Library's official website.
