Cobbledick Road Closure from August to November 2024

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced a road closure on Cobbledick Road in Clarington. The closure will be in effect from August 12 to November 11, 2024, and may be extended if weather conditions are unfavorable. The affected area includes Cobbledick Road from Service Road to the waterfront trail, as well as the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area parking lot. Additionally, a section of the waterfront trail between Cobbledick Road and Toronto Street will be temporarily closed. Detour signage will be installed to guide trail users. The closure is necessary to replace the existing sanitary sewer forcemain and to construct a new gravity sanitary sewer.
