Clarington Plans Initiatives to Combat Intimate Partner Violence

The Municipality of Clarington has outlined several initiatives to address intimate partner violence (IPV) within the community. During the General Government Committee meeting on December 2, 2024, it was decided that Clarington Community Engagement Staff will plan and host an Intimate Partner Violence Roundtable in December 2025. This event aims to bring together community partners to raise awareness and discuss potential community-based solutions to address the lack of resources available for IPV victims.
